BP with its partners started development of the Skarv field in 1998.

The recoverable reserves are estimated to Recoverable reserves (base ? Skarv only) 14,8 mmSm 3 (93 mmbbls) Oil & Condensate 39,6 bnSm 3 (1,4 Tcf) gas. Number of subsea wells are 15 - 16. The production year is

2010 forecast with a daily production estimate of 15 mmScm 3 /d. The Skarv project is based on a Drilling Templates

subsea solution with SkarvFPSO topside solution. The development cost is in the order of with an estimated field life of 25 years.
