Xikomba, Esso[/b], - located in the northwest corner of Angola Block 15, about 370 kilometers northwest of Luanda in water depths of approximate 1,480 meters. The field which was discovered in 1999

























The Xikomba field development by operator Esso is located 15 in West of Africa offshore Angola

in water depths of 1,480 m.





Esso with its partners started development of the Xikomba field in 1999.

The recoverable reserves are estimated to 100 mmboe. Number of subsea wells are 9. The production year is

2004 with a daily production estimate of 80,000 bopd. The Xikomba project is based on a

subsea solution with XikombaFPSO topside solution. The development cost is in the order of with an estimated field life of years.
