Flu not serious in Robertson County schools
 

But according to Assistant Director of Schools Danny Weeks, it is just not true.



"There is nothing serious," Weeks confirmed.



Weeks said they have been monitoring the situation but so far attendance does not warrant any closures. One of the hardest hit so far, Greenbrier Middle School, is still only registering about a five percent absentee rate.

But if students do have the flu Weeks urges parents to be cautious.

"We do wants kids to stay home if they are sick," he advised.
